A Bit About Me
Born in Berlin, I studied animation at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam with a focus on directing and audio design. Exploring personal stories, empathy and collaboration are at the heart of my work.

February 2023
Sound recording assistant for "Call me Agnes" with near/by film
In the production of "Call me Agnes", I helped on set during an outdoor shoot. My responsibilities included setting up and operating sound equipment and managing its storage. I also helped out as a runner and stand in. The role gave me valuable on-set experience and furthered my understanding of the production line of a film.
September 2022 - February 2023
Minor in "The Art of Writing" at University of Applied Sciences Utrecht
During my animation study, I specialized in creative writing during my graduation year. The 6 months long course focused on fiction and non-fiction writing, poetry, scriptwriting, and narrative development through exercises in writing short stories, non-fiction stories, theatre scripts, screenplays and poems. In the minor, I practiced my storytelling techniques and character development, and furthered my skills in editing, literary analysis and giving feedback.
March -July 2022
2D Animation internship at All Things Moving in Amsterdam
During my internship, I contributed to various animated creative and commissioned projects, from short films to point-and-click games. My responsibilities included designing animations from key-frame to clean-up, designing and implementing sound, as well as character design and research. The collaboration furthered my understanding of the pipeline and improved my skills in TVpaint and the Adobe Suite.
September 2019 - August 2023
Bachelor of Design: Animation at Willem de Kooning Academie Rotterdam
In 2023 I graduated from the WdKA with a bachelor in animation with my graduation film "Good Enough". I developed a strong foundation in the animation principles, storytelling and sound design. Notable achievements include my 2021 short film "I Am Crying All The Time And I Don't Know Why" which was showcased at several events. I also collaborated various other short films, where I acquired skills in 2D and 3D animation, character design and directing.
