Hidden Cameras

An educative game hiding in plain sight.

This collaboratively developed game is based on the cocept of geo-caching and aims to raise awareness about the CCTV system at the Willem de Kooning academy. To engage the student body, we hung posters encouraging participants to find wooden, camera-shaped boxes hidden in dead angles out of the CCTV cameras' views. Each box contained a booklet with facts about CCTV rules from the Academy's guidebook, a map to the next box, and a sign-in section for finders. The final location rewarded players with CCTV camera-shaped keyrings as memorabilia. I developed the concept, scouted hiding spots for the cameras and was involved in mapping the locations.
